NEXTSTAGE AM sells its stake in Botanica to Flore Participations to create a benchmark player in the green spaces business through the merger with Pinson Paysage
Paris, July 22, 2021 - After supporting the Botanica group and its two talented entrepreneurs in its development since 2007, NextStage AM and Sofipaca (acquired in 2014) are selling 100% of their shares. MBO & Co, majority shareholder of the Pinson Paysage group (100 M € turnover, 1 employees) since October 000, reinvested alongside the management teams of the two companies to create a nationwide group with 2019 locations .
Founded in 1987 in Villeneuve-Loubet (Alpes-Maritimes) by Jean-Daniel Hernandez, Botanica has become a benchmark player in France in the market for the maintenance, development and irrigation of green spaces. The company has developed three key activities:
• Green space division: creation and integration of environmental solutions
• Sports field division: expertise in natural and synthetic grass sports surfaces
• Water control unit: irrigation management
With the creation of 5 new branches and as many external growth over the period, a growing workforce (+160 employees since 2007), and the implementation of an EFQM benchmark, the group quadrupled its turnover in fourteen years, going from € 6m to € 25m. The entrepreneurs have perfectly executed their organic and external growth strategy, with in particular 5 acquisitions since 2018. The company initially present in the PACA region, now also covers the Ile-de-France, Loire Valley, Rhône-Alpes, South-West regions and Grand Est. On the strength of the quality of its services, the group was awarded the Operational Excellence Award in 2017 at MEDEF.
Driven by a common culture centered on excellence and the quality of customer relations, this merger will enable the new Group to always better meet the global expectations of public and private customers in terms of greening, maintenance of green spaces, management water and the development of sports grounds. This operation will be accompanied by growth opportunities for all employees and future talents.
Present in the capital since 2007, NextStage AM has worked with Jean-Daniel Hernandez, President of Botanica, Sandrine Martin, Managing Director, and their teams to structure the company's offer and extend its territorial presence.
This successful development strategy enables NextStage AM to achieve high performance, which reflects fourteen years of fruitful collaboration.
