Initially reserved for institutional investors, private equity is now opening up to a wider audience. This trend was highlighted in an article in Challenges where Jean-David Haas, co-founder of NextStage AM, shares his point of view on private equity.
“For informed decision-making, it is important to fully understand the investment horizon and the level of risk of the financial product, to carefully examine the performance record of the fund as well as that of the manager, and not to invest the his entire assets – generally between 5% and 10%,” recommends Jean-David Haas.
