Christian Queffelec is an engineer graduated from INSA (National Institute of Applied Sciences) in Rennes and holds a DEA from the University of Rennes I in signal processing and statistical data in 1978. He began his career at Cap Gemini.
From 1983 to 1985, he participated in the creation in Rennes of the telecom activity of SEMA (which has since become Atos Origin). At the same time, in 1984 he contributed to the creation of Edixia, of which he was Chairman of the Management Board from 1987 to 2001. From 2001 to 2006, he remained Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Edixia, until its sale to new shareholders. .
In 2000, he created Astellia with Emmanuel Audousset, Julien Lecoeuvre and Frédéric Vergine. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Rennes-Atalante technology park and of the Rennes Business School. In addition, Christian Queffelec is also President of the Brittany regional jury for the competition of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, to help the creation of innovative technology companies.
