This investment is fully in line with NextStage AM's strategy, which targets young innovative nuggets with high growth potential whose technologies are disruptive in their market. As such, Placeshaker aims to innovate by digitizing the construction sector.
Founded in 2017 and led by Misha Sarkissian, Matthieu Stefani, Thibault Colombat and Ibrael Espinosa, four entrepreneurs with complementary profiles, from construction and tech, Placeshaker publishes "Articho" software that optimizes the management of construction companies. .
Placeshaker is also a work platform that contracts and carries out kitchen, bathroom and complete renovation projects by improving the quality and communication between the various project stakeholders (craftsmen, suppliers, architects), prescribers (insurers, major retail-DIY brands, property companies, etc.) and end customers.

The result of nearly three years of research and development, this project management software is used by the company's two subsidiaries:
- Renovation Square, dedicated to complete housing renovations and complex projects
- Square Works, dedicated to kitchen and bathroom renovations.
Based in Île-de-France, Placeshaker employs around 40 people and cooperates with several hundred partners, artisans, customers and suppliers. Since the start of its works activity in 2019, Placeshaker has carried out more than 2500 projects through its Articho platform. Building on its development, the start-up is continuing its territorial expansion, with the opening of a branch in the PACA region in September 2021, then Bordeaux, Monptellier and Lille by the end of the year and finally Nantes and Lyon in 2022. This operation will enable it to double its workforce as well as the number of projects carried out in the year while positioning itself in new markets (particularly office property).
“In the construction sector, digital tools are mainly oriented towards customer acquisition and less towards the operational execution of construction sites, as Placeshaker does. This is why the company stands out from other players in the market and has great potential to exploit. In addition, the team's ability to execute, the market depth of the renovation & works sector, and the very strong development growth that Placeshaker has experienced in a very short time convinced us to invest and support society," says Bastien Aversa, Business Manager at NextStage AM, in charge of this operation. », declares Bastien Aversa, Business Manager at NextStage AM, in charge of this operation.
