Paris, May 12, 2022 – Pépites & Territoires by AXA France & NextStage AM and Trocadero Capital Partners are supporting the nugget Girondine Adopt Parfums, creator of the French Fragrance Revolution by offering high quality perfume at an affordable price, as part of an operation worth more than €26 million to accelerate its growth and industrial capacity.
Founded in Cestas (33) in 1986 and supported by NextStage AM since 2016, Adopt Parfums, led by Frédéric Stoeckel, is the creator of the French Fragrance Revolution and is democratizing the perfume market. In just a few years, the brand has become one of the perfume leaders in France in terms of volume, an objective achieved thanks to its innovative and daring positioning by offering quality perfumes at affordable prices.
The group, which is deployed digitally and via more than 170 stores and 2000 points of sale in nearly 40 countries, offers more than 150 original creations of eau de parfum, developed in collaboration with the greatest master perfumers and entirely manufactured In France. In strong and profitable growth since 2016 despite the health crisis, Adopt Parfums has seen its turnover multiplied by almost 3 since the support of NextStage AM.
A player deeply committed to environmental performance, Adopt Parfums multiplies responsible initiatives, relying on local production, an environmentally friendly "product" offer, a desire to create a virtuous circle of consumption by encouraging its customers to offer a second life for perfumes, in particular through a recycling program for empty bottles, or by rationalizing the impact of its supply policy.
Adopt Parfums also participates in collective initiatives such as the Eco Beauty Score Consortium, the aim of which is to co-create data on environmental impacts and an eco-score on cosmetics, and through the support of responsible ingredient chains.
To enable it to become a world champion in its market, to accelerate its digital deployment and to promote its international development, NextStage AM, as part of the Pépites & Territoires by AXA France & NextStage AM program, supported by Trocadero Capital Partners and its major historical shareholders carry out a €26,2 million financing transaction. As part of this operation, Pépites & Territoires by AXA France & NextStage AM is committing €17 million.
