Biography
An electrical engineer who graduated from SUPELEC in 1982, Gilles has spent most of his career in the energy industry: first at CGEE ALSTHOM hydroelectric plant (now CEGELEC), where he became Commercial Director in the mid-90s. He then emigrated to the Philippines in 1997 and was appointed President of ALSTOM Philippines in 1999. Upon his return to France in 2002, Gilles created and manages the distributed energy / bioenergy activity within ALSTOM Transmission & Distribution, which will become AREVA Bioénergies within AREVA Renewables. Gilles left the management of AREVA Bioénergies in 2007 to co-found the company Enertime.
