Jerome Giacomoni, co-founder of AEROPHILE with Matthieu Gobbi, was interviewed for a report by France 3 Paris Ile-de-France about the Para-PM experiment. He was thus able to review the results of the installation of their air purifier for large spaces in a schoolyard in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. Since June, a whole pollution control system has been installed in this school to fight against fine particles.
“We light them 10 minutes before recess and in 10 minutes, we reduce pollution in the yard by 30% to 40%. We allow children to breathe less polluted air during the moments when they hyperventilate and when they run,” explains Jerome Giacomoni.
AEROPHILE is the world specialist in tethered balloons as well as other unique aerial attractions that the company designs, markets, and operates in the most emblematic urban and natural sites on the planet. The group has also been engaged for many years in fundamental research on atmospheric pollution and is developing a patented solution for depolluting outdoor air which eliminates 95% of fine particles.
